There are numerous ways to make income online.

As well as GDI you can make money through google Adsense.  Google Adsense gives you a code to embed on your website and for every click on that code you will earn money.  Its pay per click.  Advertisers are willing to pay for clicks to their website in the hope of selling those visitors products,  google is willing to share this income with you if you are willing to put their ads on your site.

Affiliate programs work in much the same way except that the may pay per sale, either a % or a set fee.  There are a huge number of affiliate programs out there but my favourites are been clixgalore and clickbank.

Another to make money and get rid of unwanted stuff around the house is to auction it online.  Ebay, Trademe and more.  Some auction sites are free but most charge a small fee to the seller.  Be careful though you might also get addicted to buying stuff online but make sure you at least get a bargin.
